Prepare character references with GPT Image

Use GPT Image in SEENDEEK’s image model selection to prepare visual material for a video project. Define the character’s appearance, choose a suitable generated image and connect that reference to your storyboard shots.

Define the features the character needs to keep

Think beyond the face. Record hairstyle, clothing and recurring accessories that matter to the story. Separate those identifying features from a background that can change. If you use material depicting a real person, confirm that you have the necessary permission.

Choose GPT Image in the image model list

Select a GPT Image option in SEENDEEK’s image generation interface. Check the available inputs and settings, then enter the description you prepared. The controls offered by another GPT Image service may differ from those available in SEENDEEK.

Make the reference easy to inspect

A fictional practice description could specify an adult character with short dark hair, a navy jacket and a gray bag, framed so the face and clothing are visible. This is an input example, not a guaranteed output or a reported production result.

Check that important features are not hidden in the first reference. If you create additional angles, compare each image with the original basis rather than assuming every view depicts an identical character.

Establish the selected image as the character reference

Review the face, hands, clothing and important accessories. Choose the image that will serve as the character basis and prepare it in the library for use in the relevant shots. Follow the current interface for saving or bringing an image into the reference workflow.

Continually replacing the reference can make appearance changes harder to track. Keep the established basis unless the story or production decision calls for a deliberate change.

Review the character again in video results

A video model can introduce changes even when the source reference looks correct. Compare the generated face, hands and clothing with the chosen image and then with adjacent shots.

Image preparation is one part of the production process. Manage character consistency through reference selection, shot planning and inspection together rather than relying on a model name alone.

Prepare your script and references, then start your project in SEENDEEK.

Frequently asked questions

Is GPT Image the video model in this workflow?

No. This guide uses GPT Image to prepare images. The video generation stage uses the selected video model and its available settings.

Which GPT Image version can I use?

Check the current image model selector in SEENDEEK. The available versions and controls can change as the service is updated.

Does a reference guarantee an identical character?

No exact match is guaranteed across all generated images and videos. Set a visual basis and inspect the important features throughout the sequence.
