Build an AI Storyboard from Your Script

A useful storyboard makes each shot’s purpose clear. Start from a script, assign the character and scene references, and check how the shots connect before generating video.

Make each shot’s purpose visible

An AI storyboard generator helps turn a script into a plan for the screen. A useful storyboard explains who appears, where the action happens and what the viewer needs to understand in each shot.

SEENDEEK connects script analysis and character setup with reference preparation and shot planning. Review the generated board against the script before moving into video generation.

Record the information that changes between shots

  • Purpose: the story information or reaction this shot adds.
  • Subject: the characters, products or objects that appear.
  • Setting: the location and the relevant visual context.
  • Action: what happens during this particular shot.
  • Continuity: details that need to carry over from the previous shot.

Turn a short scene into a board

Use this fictional planning example: a character notices a box, finds a letter inside and decides to leave. The board can show the discovery, the reaction and the move toward the door as separate shots.

The character and workroom remain recurring references. The box and letter need to appear in the appropriate states. The actions change from shot to shot. Separating those roles helps identify what the next generation needs to do.

Connect references to the relevant shots

Prepare the recurring character, location and prop references before reviewing the board. Assign them where they belong, rather than relying on a different description of the same subject in every shot.

A reference helps establish the visual basis of a scene. It does not remove the need to inspect generated results. Check that the storyboard asks for actions and framing that make sense with the chosen material.

Review the board before generating video

Read the sequence in story order. Confirm that the important events are covered, the transitions are understandable and the repeated elements are clearly identified. Revise any missing action or overloaded shot.

When video results become available, use the board as the review reference. Compare the intended action with what the shot actually shows, and make corrections with the surrounding sequence in mind.

Prepare your script and references, then start your project in SEENDEEK.

Frequently asked questions

Is an AI-generated storyboard final?

Treat it as a draft for review. Check it against the script and production brief, then revise missing actions or unclear transitions before generating video.

Is a storyboard the same as a video?

A storyboard is a plan for the shots. It helps define the images, actions and connections needed before the video results are generated and reviewed.

Can I use the same board for a product ad?

Yes, the planning approach can be used for a product sequence. Record the product details and message that each shot must preserve, then inspect the generated results carefully.
